Our technology
With our engineering team, UD Automated designed and built a custom-made machine, capable of impregnating a wide range of fibers with a wide range of polymers. Impregnation is achieved by a cutting-edge, patent-worthy technology, allowing for swift and uniform polymer distribution at high production speeds.
The aim was to engineer a versatile machine that is able to outperform current production machines by lowering total production cost, by at least 25%.
This is achieved through high production speeds in combination with optimal fiber impregnation and a reduction of production waste.
Our machine is designed to be able to produce widths of 100 – 600 mm at speeds of up to 10 m/min.
