About UDA

UD automated BV (UDA) is a developer and manufacturer of UD composite tape based on thermoplastic polymers. UDA uses proprietary equipment and technology to produce UD-A carbon tapes; fibre spreading and impregnation are unique. UDA uses a direct melt process, without any solvents or other process aids. Compared to thermoset composite materials, emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during production and processing are reduced to almost zero.
